  • SAIL

    Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) exercise classes for those 65 and older are taught twice a week for one hour by Kelly Weber from Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center Rehabilitation Department.

  • GO! Odessa Recreation Program

    A summer recreation program designed for the youth of Odessa. This program contains activities such as: track, basketball, swimming, soccer, sewing classes, and cheer camp.

  • Backpack Program

    The Backpack Program has served hundreds of students preschool through grade 12 over the years. Sponsors are found for each child to supply food kits for each weekend of the school year. FBLA members began the program, unloading the kits each week and helping distribute them to the children’s lockers. This project now run by the Odessa High School Honor Society.

  • Babysitting Basics

    A Babysitting Basics class, taught by an instructor from Inland Northwest Health Services Community Wellness, is offered for girls and boys age 10-15. Students will learn how to feel more confident when caring for a young child. Classes are offered annually each April, coordinated by Nancy Floether.

  • CPR/First Aid Classes

    Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) consists of mouth-to-mouth respiration and chest compression. CPR allows oxygenated blood to circulate to vital organs such as the brain and heart. First aid is the assistance given to any person suffering a serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery.

  • Community AEDs

    An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a device that automatically analyzes the heart rhythm and if it detects a problem that may respond to an electrical shock, it delivers a shock to restore a normal heart rhythm. Thanks to their small size and ease of use, AEDs have been installed at the Post Office, the Old Town Hall Senior Center, the Odessa Community Center, Quail Court Assisted Living Center, both city police vehicles, and serve a role in expanding the number of opportunities for life-saving defibrillation.

  • Four-Wheel Drive Ambulance

    Past donations were used to purchase a four-wheel drive ambulance. This vehicle is critical in emergencies, allowing the sick or injured to be transported efficiently.

  • ER Stretcher

    This special ER stretcher allows x-rays to be taken without significant and potentially dangerous movement of the already uncomfortable patient.

  • Hospital Remodel Project

    The Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center's Rehabilitation Department was remodeled.

  • Vital Sign Machine

    This machine accurately measures SpO2, thermometry, blood pressure, pulse rate and MAP. It is convenient, powerful, lightweight, and compact for easy transport.

  • Chemistry Analyzer

    The chemistry analyzer, found in the Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center lab, is used to determine the concentration of certain metabolites, electrolytes, proteins, and/or drugs in samples of serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and/or other body fluids.

  • Defibrillator for ER

    A cardiac monitor/defibrillator is a valuable piece of equipment in an emergency room. It provides an electrical shock that stops the erratic rhythm of the heart and returns it to the contracting rhythm that sustains life.

  • Digital X-Ray Equipment

    Digital radiography is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images.

  • Electrical Medical Record System

    An electronic medical record (EMR) is a digital version of the traditional paper-based medical record for an individual. The EMR represents a medical record within a single facility, such as a doctor's office or a clinic.

  • Glidescope

    The Glidescope aids in obtaining an airway for patients that are not able to maintain their own airway or who have stopped breathing. This allows video visualization during intubation to allow providers to see the vocal cords while placing breathing tubes in both adults and children.

  • Hospice Room

    Odessa Memorial Heatlhcare Center can provide Hospice care. This room allows a patient and their family a comfortable room with focus on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient's pain and symptoms, and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs.

  • i-STAT

    The i-STAT handheld operates with the advanced technology of single-use i-STAT test cartridges. Together, they create the i-STAT System—a blood analysis system that provides health care professionals with the information they need to rapidly make treatment decisions, which may lead to enhanced quality of care and improved system efficiency.

  • Portable X-Ray Machine

    To ensure that the risk of radiation exposure is associated with the benefit of a high quality radiographic image, the use of portable or mobile x-ray machines for human diagnostic procedures is restricted to patients who cannot be transferred to a stationary machine.

  • Procedure Chair & Light

    One of the examination rooms at the Odessa Clinic is equipped with a specialized procedure chair and light. It features multi-positioning capabilities and an ergonomic hand control in an easy-to-find location.

  • Refrigerator for Quail Court

    The Quail Court Assisted Living Center staff and residents now enjoy a large commercial refrigerator which replaced the original household refrigerator that was installed when Quail Court was built.

  • Telephone System Update

    The updated telephone system for the Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center is connected to the overhead paging and emergney alert mechanisms. In addition to summoning emergency assistance, the phone system also helps the hospital conduct business and stay connected to the community.

  • Medication Cart

    A new medication cart for the long-term care wing of the hospital was also purchased. This cart provides the ability for OMHC to package controlled medicines in a card method, which simplifies shift counts and reduces the likelihood of theft.

  • Wanderguard System

    A Wander Management System for Quail Court was purchased to help ensure the safety of residents as they become forgetful. Quail Court can issue pendants or Fob's which will alarm staff if a forgetful resident nears an exit. This will limit the risk of a resident leaving the facility without the ability to find their way back.

  • 12 Lead ECG/Defibrillator/Monitors

    The 12-lead ECG/Defibrillator/Monitor for the Odessa Ambulance will help determine cardiac arrhythmias and heart attacks in the field. This will allow EMS to communicate critical information to the hospital prior to arrival and to facilitate the fastest treatment. This monitor is compatible with the equipment in the Emergency Department at Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center, providing a quick transfer of care between EMS and the ER.

  • High-Low Exam Table

    The high-low exam table offers more patient safety and comfort. The patient will simply sit down and no longer be forced to step up to get on an exam table. The height also allows for a level transfer from a standard wheelchair height. The additon of safety grab bars helps assist with stablility for the patient in a transfer. Once the patient is safely seated, the exam table can be raised and the back lowered as needed to be a full exam table.

  • AccuVein Vein Finder

    The AccuVein AV500 digitally displays a map of the vasculature on the surface of the skin in real time, allowing clinicians to verify vein patency and avoid valves or bifurcations. It is handheld and lightweight, weighing only 10 ounces (275g), and easily converts to hands-free with the use of optional wheeled or fixed stands.

  • Golvo Mobile Lift Chair

    The Golvo 9000 lift offers the functional advantages of an overhead lift with the flexibility of a mobile lift. In combination with the extensive range of Liko accessories, Golvo is ideal for common lifting situations across a variety of care environments.​

  • Gaumard Susie 2000 Simulator

SUSIE includes everything you need for rapid integration into your nursing curricula in one easy-to-use package.

  • Commercial Cooktop & Island

    A commercial cooktop with a reconfigured island to accommodate it for Quail Court. This will benefit the staff greatly who prepare meals for the residents in Quail Court.
