Scholarship

PURPOSE

To encourage and promote interest among students to enter the nursing field and/or other healthcare vocations.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be an Odessa High School graduating senior, with a grade point average of 3.0 or better, who is enrolled in an accredited program, with the goal of pursuing a degree in the medical field.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

Up to $1,200, but not to exceed the allocated amount, will be awarded to one or more individuals. This is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship. At commencement, the scholarship recipient(s) will be given a certificate of award. Once verification of enrollment and class registration is provided to the Odessa Healthcare Foundation, the financial award will be distributed.

HOW TO APPLY

Scholarship applications will become available from the Odessa High School Counselor by March 15th. Completed applications must be submitted to the Odessa Healthcare Foundation - Attn: Scholarship Committee; or dropped off at the High School Counselor’s office on or before April 24th.
